How much does it cost?

A 55-minute lesson is $100.

We do request that you purchase driving lessons when they are scheduled. Because every driver is unique, we do not offer "bundles" or package deals. Our goal is to get you to take as few of these lessons as necessary.

Your best value comes from having us introduce skills to you, practice them a few times, then for you to reinforce those skills with someone at home, such as a friend or family member. You'll save a lot of money this way!

How many driving lessons do I need?

This is difficult to ascertain until we conduct your first driving lesson. Most students take 1-4 lessons with us, as long as you have someone to practice with at home in between lessons. If you have never driven a car before, and do not have anyone to practice with outside of these lessons, it can take 7-10 lessons for you to feel comfortable driving on your own.

What should I expect for a driving lesson?

At the beginning, we ask you what you would like to work on. Do you need to work on the basics of driving? Are there specific skills you would like to learn or master? Do you just need to brush up for the driving test?

We will tailor the lesson to fit what you would like to work on, and as the lesson progresses we may add in a few skills that we notice you can improve on. We'll practice the skills at least 3-4 times during the lesson, and usually more if you need help in specific areas. Our instructors will give you their honest assessment of what to work on, along with suggestions for either a subsequent lesson or driving exam.

Remember, you will learn a lot more once you obtain a driver's license. Lessons are designed to teach you the basics, introduce some advanced concepts, and get you comfortable behind the wheel.

What if I have a lot of anxiety about driving?

Let us know! We specialize in nervous drivers. As we tell the teen drivers on their first day, if you can keep your car in the lane, and stay far enough away from the car in front of you, then you have mastered 80% of driving and can avoid most collision scenarios. You got this!
